Packaging design for plant pots (student brief)
Whimsical and lighthearted approach, tackling people's common inability to keep plant pots alive. Roll out included four packaging designs, packaging inserts displaying comical alternative uses for pots, and a website.
Handmade project (student brief)
Handmade pop up book created for Wes Anderson's film Moonrise Kingdom. The paper structure represents the child-like adventure of the two main characters and was then used to design an invite for a special 5 year screening events for the popular film.
Voyage of Discovery film festival (student brief)
Advertising for a travel documentary film festival, inspired by tracks, trails and choropleth maps. Roll out included posters, tickets, a brochure, floor plan and wayfinding.
Campaign to improve the perception of bingo (student brief)
Bingo event in partnership with Age UK, where students buddy up with pensioners to learn the 'bingo lingo'. Roll out included posters, a cut out stand, an app, photo booth, props and photo prints.
Alternative publication for Time Out (student brief)
Stepping away from the typical design of Time Out, the Wander magazine article explored Industrial Manchester as part of the Unconventional Travel Destinations series. The design took inspiration from the various travel networks that tie the city together, incorporating overlapping and interlinking elements with an ordered and grid-like structure.
